Mortgage with AP marker on credit file

I've had an offer accepted on a property and in the process of sorting a mortgage.
A few months back i checked my credit file and saw an AP marker on my noddle and checkmyfile reports. it was showing on my HSBC credit card for august 2012. coincidentally it was the very month the card was started.
I've been to the branch twice to ask about it and told on both occasions that it's basically the agreement between myself and the bank that i would make my payments.
Mortgage broker is saying the very opposite.
I've called the credit card people and they say i've never missed a payment and always paid at least the minimum payment each month
Any advice, i'm scared to apply for a mortgage if it's likely to be turned down.
can HSBC remove the marker?
