AMEX not accepted - the company that offers alternative?

I'm sure I read somewhere on here about a company that offers a mastercard/visa that you can link to your AMEX. You pay with the mastercard/visa and it comes off your AMEX...
I've tried Googling and searching but cannot find it.
Anyone know what the company was called that offered this card, if it's still around?
Thanks.

Never-mind. Found the company - Curve, who no longer support AMEX.

They would probably charge you 5% on top of the cost to do this, so why would you?0 -
I believe it was the Curve card.
I was on their website a few weeks ago and they said they no longer had an agreement with Amex.
Having thought about it, based on a thread I read earlier today, I don't know if that applies to all Amex cards or just the cards issued by Amex themselves.
I understand that other providers e.g. LLoyds and MBNA offer Amex cards. The Curve website says they have a relationship with Lloyds and MBNA, but I dont know if that means you can associate one of their cards with the Curve card.

I have mbna Amex and Visa on one account, if that helps?PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0

If you want a Mastercard or VISA why don't you get one of those cards and dump Amex?0 -
fallout with Amex has to be a blow to Curve.. i was half tempted to get on board, but without Amex - just stick to Amex:D0
