Want to buy a new car, seen one very suitable at £9,000 and I'm wondering if a money transfer would be better than going for finance? That is if you can get a 9,000 money transfer to your account, or would it be possible to get 2 money transfers to my account at £4,500 each?

It's possible, depending on your circumstances.

But make sure you understand the fees, rates and time scales.

Yes - I got one with Virgin for £5000 for a fee of only £119.50 - 36 months interest free (providing you pay the minimum direct debit which is about £55 a month for me) and cheaper than any loan out there. Obviously depends on whether or not they will give you a credit limit of that much.
