Help! Don't Qualify For A Rebuilder Credit Card
Comments

Hmmm
Not all info here is necessarily correct!
I was not accepted for Argos or JD Williams
I did however get a Barclays Initial Card
Credit limit started at £150 and has risen so far to £1,600
Out of interest I tried Argos and JD Williams again and was still declined!
I don't think any credit advice is particularly correct or incorrect, it all depends on the organisation you are applying to and your personal circumstances and credit history. Some will find the path easier and be accepted for lower interest rate lines of credit much earlier, others may find that they have 1 or 2 sub-prime cards for a couple of years, can't get any other form of credit and don't get regular (or any) increases. As every single lender has their own unique systems for approving and increasing credit there really isn't a right or wrong way, but the more people share their story others can see what seems to work and what doesn't work so often.0
