Can I switch banks while temping/unemployed?

I am hoping to switch from my current bank to the co-op so I can benefit from the £150 switch reward.
I have 4+ active direct debits which seems to be the only thing they ask for as a necessity.
I am temping/on agency books at the moment and therefore have a very low/non existent income. I am also currently looking for a permanent position.
I started to fill the form in for switching and it asks for annual salary, well of course this varies week to week due to the nature of the job.
Can I still apply? and if so, what do I put in this box?
Sorry for sounding stupid, but I'm new to all this!

Just put in the box what your average salary a week over a year would be.
They hardly ever check, but do not lie.0 -
But it does vary week to week, so my average could be anything...on a normal week, I've been getting 1-2 days work so to play it safest, should I put one day a week turned into annually?0

I'd look over your earnings for the last month to 3 months, take an average, and then multiply up for a year.0 -
Is there not a minimum £800 monthly pay in for this current account? At least for the first three months?0

minimum £800 monthly pay in
You don't need to earn £800 a month to be able to deposit £800 a month.
To get the rewards you need (inter alia) to pay in £800 a month.
To get the switching bonus you have to comply with the switching terms and conditions.

I was inferring to whether OP has enough capital to move £800 between accounts on a monthly basis. As they have stated they are on a very low/non-existent income.0

You can be on a low or non existent income and still have substantial capital.....0 -
My oversight and my apologies.0

The Co-op Bank has had a reputation for being ball-breakers when it comes to income. But if forum posts are anything to go by they have eased up. Maybe they are now desperate. If in doubt apply. Go for it.0 -
Thanks for all your replies.
I've looked on the terms and conditions and it states you only need 4+ current direct debit's for the reward and nothing about paying in £800 per month.
Most current account switches seem to ask for this but this one doesn't seem to which is why I chose it.0
