Halifax Clarity CC - cash withdrawal or account transfer

Has anyone withdrew a large amount of cash from the Halifax Clarity credit card, or transferred it to a standard Debit account?

basically i will be purchasing a car tomorrow and paying part of it via the credit card (And then balance transferred to my AA 0% 24 months).

But the garage will charge 2% on payments over a £1000 so £2500 will be an additional charge (£50).

if i can just withdraw the cash or transfer it then i could save £50.

Should be possible in theory but might be practically difficult.

As well as the issues around large sum security, the cash advance will be limited to probably 50% of the credit limit.

More pertinent might be the daily withdrawal allowance, this might be £500 so might mean you have to do it over a few days.
