    A small update (or not...)

We are still waiting on one signature for the deed of release to be submitted to land registry. It is one of the neighbours' lender who has not signed and returned... This has been going on for weeks, if not months! Our offer was accepted end of Jan.

Why would the lender take so long to sign and return? it is the end terrace, so they are actually better off removing the right of way.

I've been chasing the estate agent/our solicitor to chase up the sellers solicitor for an update but we're still stuck on 'waiting for final signature'.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Our mortgage offer runs out TODAY, but luckily they have agreed to extend by 14 more days...

Go and offer gifts to the homeowner of that house to chase their lender!

We had thought of that, but the sellers have fallen out with the neighbour due to chasing them up all the time.
It isn't them though, it's their lender! We don't want to start chasing them too if we have to live next to them for XYZ years... :(

if you don't chase them you may never be living next door to them.:(

Not sure if it's relevant to your situation but if it is I'd question this with your conveyncer. They can apply for the Bonus and receive the funds in advance of the Exchange, and there is then three months in which the Bonus is available to be used.

It takes up to ten days for the funds to get to your conveyncer after them applying for the bonus so it sounds like they don't intend to apply till exchange.

Our solicitor is surprisingly on the ball, and already has our bonus.
She applied for mortgage funds ahead of exchange/completion so we could do so on the same day or at least with a few days between.

We had mortgage funds on the 31st ready to go, and had to send them back :(

It's been weeks... if not months since this deed was sent for signatures. Driving me crazy!
