Priv.co PCN issued whilst valid ticket displayed.

Hi, advice pls, searched for simliar posts but maybe I'm the 1st to get a PCN whilst having a valid ticket clearly on display.

Quadrant car park Redditch TC 3hr ticket purchased 1248hrs to 1548hrs. Returned at 1545 to extend and PCN stuck to window. Stopped a passer by to witness valid ticket on dash visible. PCN states vehicle seen at 1500hrs!
I emailed basic facts and got standard reply. I assume I'm evidence wise rock solid and if they want to pursue will end up looking stupid and I can charge them for wasting my time.
Ignore it and let them chase me or spend time writing letters paying postage...?

I've had a google and it seems to be Excel but OP would have to confirm.

Why not? If it did go to court he/she could truthfully say that the PPC is acting fraudulently.

Yes it is Excel, have they any teeth or record for pursuing?

If you have cast iron proof, then demand to see the photographic evidence. Personally, apart from not admitting driving the car yourself, that is all I would put in the appeal other than saying you have an independent witness who supports the driver's statement.

They are more gummy than toothy but they do sometimes try small claims; new ones have been served via BW Legal at the moment. However, it sounds like they haven't a hope at a hearing!

In your case if challenging this for the first time, I would not use the template from the NEWBIES thread but just DO NOT SAY WHO WAS DRIVING! But you've already appealed, you say:
I emailed basic facts and got standard reply.
Have you given away the driver?

Did you attach a copy of the ticket?

Was it one where you had to put in the full VRN and does the correct full VRN show on the ticket?

Did you include your postal address in the email appeal (you have to include a postal address).

Was the standard reply so far, just the usual long auto-response or have you been offered IAS?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
