Hi
Last year I extended my BT contract for phone and broad band over the phone. The guy told me it was for a year, which suited me because I knew my road was due to be cabled this year.
Now they are saying I signed up for TWO years but I know I didn't.
Any ideas how I can get this sorted as I WOULD NEVER sign up for 2 years

Hi, you need to check the e-mail/ letter they sent you when you renew.
As you say you wouldnt sign for two years but if your call was mis heard then you need proof as above0 -
Two years is rather odd as line rental is per 12 months and BB 12 or 18 months .0
-
Have you done something since then that could have triggered another 12 month contract? For example, haggled your deal, or taken up a special offer?
As an example, signing up for free BT Privacy with Caller Display triggers a new 12 month contract:BT Privacy with Caller Display costs £1.75 a month, but you can sign up to get it free for a year at https://www.bt.com/myfeatures (a new 12-month line rental contract applies).
Or is it that you've paid line rental in advance, and they won't refund it if you cancel?0 -
JunJun you need a new f keyboard .0
