7 year old cocker spaniel ....
Have done loads of homework , checking the comparison sites etc ...
looking at lifetime cover ... vets fees min £3500 ..
Most companies coming out at about £300-£350 .... similar to last year ...
But have come across https://www.pet-insurance.co.uk who have that level of cover for about £150 .
Have checked ..and double checked to find fault ..or reasons why half the price .. but all looks fine .
Any thoughts / comments ?

Their website says 45% intro discount. Does that help explain half price?

Do yourself a favour, do not touch it with a barge pole, the site is owned by Equine & Livestock
They have an awful reputation that they thoroughly deserve

With the better Pet Insurers, vets will often allow you time to pay the bill to allow time for your Insurer to pay. You'll find none or very few will allow you this when they discover the Insurer is E&L as they know there's a strong chance your claim won't get paid.
Their policy also has a "Congenital" exclusion which basically means they won't pay for any Congenital Conditions. Spaniels are prone to a few congenital conditions.

Pay the extra and get a PetPlan policy, far far superior cover which most vets recommend and most vets will direct bill PP0 -
You say premiums are coming up similar to last year. Does that mean you already have insurance cover? If so be aware that if you change companies anything you have consulted your vet about, regardless if you have claimed for it or not , or anything that could be related to it, will be excluded by the new company.0
