Firefox 47 error

Is anyone else getting a "please restart" error with Firefox 47 ?
I started to get it - last month and even the latest update (47.0.1) still does it
I have "refreshed" the installation - to get rid of add-ons - but it still does it
I have even uninstalled and reinstalled it - same thing happens.......

No, haven't seen that on either of my computers (both Windows 10 now). Does it say anything other than Please Restart? Is there anything common that you're doing when you get the message?

FF 48.0 is in Beta, so it should not be long before it gets to thenew version. I never install the Beta version of anything, I let those with deeper pockets try it and break their browsers first. This will tell you when 48 is due, looks like August:

Have you tried Help? Menu Bar (top left) - Help - Firefox Help - Register (or Sign In if already registered) - "Ask a Question".

    Or Help - Troubleshooting Information.

Or Help - Firefox Health report. I have had messages in the Health report regarding crashes:

"It looks like your browser has crashed a number of times recently. To learn more:
    Visit our support web site"

    Hope some of that helps.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

I'm on the beta release channel on one of my computers (currently 48.0b4), I'm not sure why you think deep pockets would be required given that it costs nothing and the only thing it could really break is itself, and if that happened (it hasn't) I could simply go back to the production release. I switched to beta when it was suggested as a cure for some issues that the production release was having at the time and I've never looked back.

I agree - it can't do any damage to anything else ( especially hardware)
But still doesn't explain my problem with 47.0.1
which runs fine on my other Win 10 PC

Well if you answer my questions from post #2 perhaps we could try to assist, at the moment we have next to nothing to go on.

It simply pops up with an error report
    "We're Sorry
Firefox had a problem and Crashed - we will try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts"
There IS a CRASH REPORT - but I am unable to "copy" it !!
How do I obtain a crash report from within Firefox itself ?

Now I see what you're actually getting it's reminded me that I occasionally get the same thing, I just restart and carry on rather than worrying about it, although if it was happening frequently I might be more concerned. How often are you seeing it, several times a day, once a week?
