Thin Wardrobes

I've seen the Pax wardrobe at Ikea can come with a 35cm deep frame. I have quite a narrow bedroom so I'm looking to get some thin wardrobes so there is space to pass by the bed. Would anyone know of other retailers that sell equally thin wardrobes?

The Pax wardrobe is a lovely bit of kit, I think.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
If its that thin you won't fit much in it! Coat hangers plus clothes you need at least 50cm deep to hang on a rail. If narrower you'll have to use shelves and maybe a few items on a rail with clothes facing out, but if you do that you can only see the front thing on the rail!
I do know Ikea do some nifty rails that pull out etc but really I think 35cm is going to be problematic.
I assume you are thinking of sliding doors? As this would save space needed for opening doors.0 -

The PAX has forward facing hanging. Not ideal but the small depth means that stuff is accessible and it is certainly better than nothing.
My son has one with swinging doors, it doesn't need expensive sliding doors as you're already standing in the depth that the doors use, iyswim.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I added on all the options and it soon added up to something fairly expensive (ie £700). If there were other ones I thought it would be worth a look. As it is I guess I'll compromise on all the bells and whistles. If its that thin you won't fit much in it! Coat hangers plus clothes you need at least 50cm deep to hang on a rail. I do have a small closet room which has a hanging rail in so I don't need to hang all my clothes in the pax. Something wider would make it a bit of a squeeze getting past.matched betting: £879.63
