Shared brick shed - removing my half?

Hi

I have just bought a house which has a brick shed/outhouse which is shared between me and the neighbour (separated by a wall so not shared access just built between two gardens).
I have thought about the possibility of extending the property however this will be in the way. Its about a meter from the rear wall of the kitchen so any type of extension would mean the the kitchen door would be blocked off externally.

So to have this shed removed, I'm wondering what would be involved? Has anyone ever done this? Main concern is the roof. Obviously I don't want to leave the neighbours with a wobbly shed so I would definitely be looking at reinforcing their side if possible.. it is an asbetos roof as well so would this mean the only option is to remove the whole thing? I can't find many priceguides on a shed roof nor any info on removing 1 side of it.

If this turns out to be more work than its worth is there an alternative?

Ask them if they want to keep their bit or would they also prefer that it was not their/somewhere else

could be that they would be happy to let you pay to take the lot down and buy them another shed for somewhere else in their garden.
