Hi,
I'm just wondering on the procedure of being paid SSP once you've given in a sick note.
This month I worked 48 hours, then was sick with depression (been absent recently with this also)
I sent in my sick note on 20th June (backdated to 10th June) , but I know the payroll cut off date is 15th June, would this prevent me from getting SSP?
Thanks for any advice,
Chris

Well first do you meet the eligibility criteria for SSP?0

Yes, I received it partially last month, then went back to work, but on doctors advice, have been told to stay off a while longer.0

Have you tried asking your employer?
To be honest it most likely would depend on how they manage your payroll.0
