Hey Folks,
I'm hoping you could me advise about what i can do about my situation.
I brought a pair of sunglasses (Quay Australia Barnun) from Whitefox Boutique - i checked the website reviews in advance - and when they arrived the lens were a different colour from the site and the name was Barnun 1 on the frame rather than Barnun. It was different from what i've known it to be from another pair i've seen. It supposed to be black lenses and that's what i wanted. The pair i got were brown tinted. I was obviously annoyed and contacted the boutique, the response is below when i explained they are not the same.
The Barnun could have been from the first batch Quay Australia released or they could have changed the factory which they were manufactured it. The Barnun 1. may just be an improved style which is why they are slightly different however both pairs are Barnun Black sunglasses.
For further information I recommend contact Quay Australia directly
Please let me know if you need any further information.
Thank you,
Courtney
So i now what can i do as i feel like these glasses are possibly fake and they're offering credit note which is unacceptable. Should i contact our consumer rights or Australia's? not sure if that's the right thing to do or not.
Any suggestions?

If you submit them to the manufacturer for authenticity testing and they prove to be fake you won't get them back. The supplier won't care either so you won't get anything back.
I would just go straight for chargeback keeping the items in case your bank wants them.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I do think it's very difficult to tell a colour of something on a website . The lenses are described as ' smoke' aren't they?
As they seem to cost about£26 I think they are unlikely to be fakes.0
