Land Registry said the application has been cancelled but my solicitor said different

Hi everyone,
The purchase of my property was completed 8 months ago. However, I still have not received my title deed.
My solicitor said they have sent the registration application to Land Registry last December. They have just received some enquiries from Land Registry today and will answer the enquiries soon. The solicitor said this procedure is normal.
Later, I talked to Land Registry. The staff told me that the application has already been cancelled in January due to missing documents.
I hope my solicitor didn’t lie to me. My solicitor was sure that they are still exchanging information with Land Registry.
I’m confused now…Is it possible that my solicitor is contacting with Land Registry without submitting an application? Any comments, please?
Many thanks.

It's entirely possible that the original application has been cancelled - but that the solicitor is working with LR to ensure everything's in place for a subsequent application to succeed.
I'm guessing this is a previously unregistered property?0 -

Thanks for your comments.
I just received an e-mail from LR.
"...the application was cancelled because the solicitor failed to supply LR with consent from the property management company in accordance with the terms of the restriction in the Proprietorship Register..."
It seems that my property management company does not happy with the transfer... Maybe I should contact with my management company for further information...0 -

That sounds unlikely.
If the management co was unhappy and/or refused consent, I don't think your solicitor would just ignore it and send off the application anyway.
More likely... your solicitor 'forgot' to send the consent, or 'forgot' to ask the management co for consent, and is busy sorting it out.0 -

I think you are right. Two month ago (April), my solicitor told me that the management company was not happy for the old transfer form, because the form include both the property and car parking. Therefore, my solicitor asked me to sign two new forms, one for property, one for car parking.I think my solicitor forgot to ask me for the forms until April.
However, I think these forms should be sent to the management company. But my solicitor keeps on saying that the forms have been sent to Land Registry...
Is it possible that the registration will fail? If it is failed, will I lose my ownership of my property?0 -

Presumably, the car parking is under a separate lease from the property?0 -
Yes. There are two lease, one for the property, one for the car parking. I think that's why the management co is asking for two transfer forms.Presumably, the car parking is under a separate lease from the property?
I think the new transfer forms should be sent to the management co. But why my solicitor said the forms have been sent to LR. I wish this issue could be solved, and I don't want to lose my property...0
