Hi
Apologies if this post has been previously posted but I could not find my exact circumstances. we are working with a mortgage broker to try and get a mortgage. my credit file is fine, no problems, but my partner has 3 defaults two of which have no satisfaction date although Experian stated that the are all settled and satisfied and that some lenders do not state the satisfaction date. The problem is that our mortgage broker has stated that if there is no satisfaction date then this could be a problem when applying for a mortgage as he has experience this type of problem before. I have contacted one of the lenders who has stated that they do not give a satisfaction date they only update it to state satisfied. My partner paid all of the debts in full so i would assume that a satisfaction date should be entered on her credit file Has someone experienced this problem before any advise would be much appreciated.
