Can you keep the same FIT supplier but change to another energy supplier for your incoming electric

    Yes. Did it a few months after getting solar panels. EDF still pay FIT (very promptly) but electric (& gas) were much cheaper elsewhere with the reduced consumption due to the solar panels.

    Now get electric from E.on & gas from Zog as their standing charges were much lower than EDF's when we signed up for a 1 year fix in February.

    Since doing the switch we regularly check the comparison sites, but still not found anyone cheaper than what we fixed at, for our current consumption of electric or gas. However, both E.on & Zog have put up their charges since, so their current tariffs may not be the best value if we were to switch now.
