Help with a Wowcher purchase

Hi All,

First ever post so please accept apologies if in the wrong place and the fact it is SO long winded!!

We purchased a Wowcher for airport parking recently for Manchester Airport by ameetandgreet. The deal was for them to meet you at the airport, take the car and park it for the duration and then meet you with the car at the airport on your return.
After redeeming the voucher, I emailed the company with the flight details etc and got a response confirming all the information saying all booked in, just call 15 mins prior to arrival at the airport.
On the day we called about 30 mins before and it was just ringing out, kept trying and trying and then got an answer machine so left messages several times. Finally as we kept trying, someone answered the phone and I gave them our details, he then hung up on me after taking our car Reg. Getting very stressed now we kept trying to ring. :eek:

We arrived at the airport and still no joy. Kept trying from two different mobiles and they then answered my husband. The man my husband spoke to said they had no booking for us and when he explained we had email confirmation he asked us to forward the email. We did so and then continued ringing and ringing, as obviously we are in the drop off zone outside the terminal and getting very stressed. 43 ignored phone calls and several messages later and running out of time for getting checked in etc we had no choice but to park in the long stay car park at a cost of £112 :mad: I emailed the company from the airport stating what we had had to do and that as they had failed to honour the contract they entered into, we would be seeking the money on our return.

Since returning we have had no response from the company, despite several emails and calls. I got Wowcher involved who have been pretty useless, they've refunded the £29 we paid them for the voucher but no reply when we keep asking why they are not pursuing the company for the money we had to pay out as the contract was purchased through them and not fulfilled.

Can someone please advise she we stand, or what we can do, I am off on maternity leave at the moment and cannot afford to be out of pocket like this for something that was not our fault and out of our control.
