I want an Independent Insurance Broker

Can anyone recommend a good reliable Broker please. I am totally fed up with having to do all the comparisons and trawling through the small print to make sure I have the right cover and I want someone to do it all for me....I don't care if I have to pay it will be worth it to get rid of this ongoing hassle.
I have to check out all of the following:

and every year it just becomes a dreaded task to be undertaken by one or the other of us. We are in our 50's and have better things to do with our lives than sit on a PC comparing tables of facts and figures. I know this may sound like anarchy on a website like this but we can't be the only ones who absolutely hate all the grief that goes with this task.
Who in their right minds wouldn't prefer to give someone all your details and requirements and let them do all the hard work for you and just present you with a couple of options with the costs and if they get paid commission for this then so what - they earned it.
Who would Martin recommend?
I would love to know - please help me before I go potty.

Find a local broker in town just as you would have done before the internet.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Hi
Yes thanks for that and also to the guy who sent me a PM offering his services
However, what I would like is a recommendation for an established firm of Brokers or an accredited company. I live in the South East (Kent) to be precise so a London company would be within my reach but would prefer Kent. I'm looking to establish a personal relationship with a company who will take over all the Insurance cover management for us.
Maybe I'm looking for what doesn't exist :cool:0 -
Any broker will do this sort of work though. Avoid the chains like Swinton and similar who just key the details in a computer.
Look on the BIBA website for details of firms in your area.

He is not an insurance broker according to his website. He is a mortgage adviser.
brokers and advisers are two different things. Mortgage advisers and IFAs will usually be able to do household. IFAs and some mortgage brokers will be able to do health and some IFAs will do commercial but not vehicle or holiday.
What is needed here is a conventional insurance broker. Not a financial adviser or mortgage adviser.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Hi everyone
thanks for the replies and sorry for the delay in replying. I lost the e-mail notifying me of the replies and thought no one had done so!
So, it seems that the old fashioned Insurance broker is still alive and well then. Trouble is I live in a rural village  but never mind I could hike it into nearest town and see what is available there.
Thanks again for your suggestions.0 -
