Houses/Villas to rent in Spain for big group

Hi, a group of about 10 of us (3 families) want to rent a house between us next August in Northern Spain. There are so many websites dealing with private rentals to choose between and I dont know which are reputable companies. The budget is about £1000. Anyone done this before & able to point me in right direction?

i would look around and see what changeover day usually is before having a look for flights- www.skyscanner.net for most to gerona or reus
think carefully about what you want- do you want to walk to eat and a beach| as this will drammatically reduce your options0
