Life Insurance for British expats

Hello,
I currently live and work in he UAE and would appreciate some advice on finding some life insurance cover.
As expats, me and my wife move around every few years, so I'm wondering if this could be a problem regarding life cover. We are both in our early 40's and have no health issues.
I'm looking for a type of term insurance which would pay out a monthly benefit over a 20 year period should the worse happen.
Can anyone recommend some well established companies that could provide suitable cover. And also, if there is anything to be aware off regarding small print.

You may struggle to get a Family Income Benefit plan since you are not resident in the UK. Few, if not zero, UK life insurers will insurance you if you don't live in the UK. Friends Life International used to cover expat UK citizens, however, they seem to have significantly scaled back their business over the last few years and finding a broker who has an agency with them might also be a problem as they are only used in specialist circumstances.
Can you not get insurance from an insurer in the Middle East?0
