Redundancy shows on payslip but haven't received in bank?

Hello,
I was recently made redundant, 24th June was my final day however 25th being my pay day. A few days later I received my payslip with my p45, on the payslip it had my basic salary, redundancy amount and holiday pay. When checking my balance it seems I only have 1 of the payments being almost half the amount? (basic salary)
Is this usual? As I thought if it shows on your payslip it should already be paid into the bank, or does redundancy pay come later on.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thankyou.

It may come later. It may not. Have you thought of asking the employer?0

When I was made redundant in April 2010, I received my normal pay at the end of April, I didn't get all my redundancy payments, PILON, owed holiday etc until a month later.0

Thank you, it makes sense. I just thought if it's on your payslip, it's in your bank. I'll wait until the end of the month before contacting my old employer due to the circumstances, I am relying on this payout to help me until further employment.
Thanks.0
