France Petrol - is all OK now?

Hi, we are off to France for 2 weeks from next Thursday. It's all been very quiet on the strikes/petrol shortage recently. I'm hoping all is much better now!
Has anyone been recently that can confirm this? We leave on Thursday, en route to Le Mans then the Dordogne.
We are driving and going by Eurotunnel, which means we can take 30 Litres in jerry cans, but we have 2 dogs with us, and a very full car, so I'm hoping to avoid this if all possible, mainly for the smell in the car!
Thanks

There are National protests in France today, which will affect rail. maybe keep an eye if any more dates planned that could affect the business of the roads.0 -
There were absolutely no issues in the Nice area when we were there just over a week ago. Never saw any queues while we were there and had no problem resulting the hire car near the airport .0

"Monday morning-after-the-weekend-before. British pound continues to fall following Brexit vote. Currently down a further 2.3% against the Dollar and 0.7% against the Euro, following Friday's falls of up to 10%. France is rapidly becoming much cheaper for American tourists, and much more expensive for visitors from Britain. Expect fuel prices to rise in the days to come, but more noticeably in Britain than in France and Eurozone."0

What does this have to do with fuel strikes in France?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
You mean-what does this have to with fuel in France?0

Thanks all, I realise our whole holiday will be more expensive now!
Luckily the main accommodation is paid for already, the 2nd week I have to pay cash, but I ordered my euros on Tuesday last week just in case, and got them for 1.26 - it's now at 1.18 - I knew we needed cash, so got more than we would usually take away, as didn't want to rely on an unknown exchange rate on the cards.
Just hoping the French don't decide to riot/strike again!0 -

They often strike -I witnessed two last time I went. It's their way, have a great time.0

Look at the title of the thread.
It's a comment about fuel.
If you think i have a political view I'm trying to get across, your incorrect.0 -
