Can you ask to delay large prize deliveries? - How understanding are companies?

After 18 years together my partner and I are going our separate ways and as I moved in to his place all those years ago I am the one moving out but it won't be until I have had time to buy somewhere of my own which could be at least six months.
Money is going to be very tight for me so I am desperately trying to win myself all the things I need to set up home on my own for the first time.
I am planning to move back to where my family live and I don't know how long it will take so does anyone know, if I am lucky enough to win a bed, sofa, washing machine etc will companies be prepared to wait until I have moved before they send them out?
If not, do you think they would deliver to one of my family members who could store it?
I know it's just a hypothetical question but there is no point me entering yet if I have no where to put a big prize.
The whole situation is sad and scary but I am trying to be positive so sorry for using the forum as a way to get things off my chest but I know you are all a supportive group of compers!

No way to know unless you ask them when/if you win, you could always say you are in the process of moving and if they won't delay, which is possible, have it delivered to a family member.
If there are family members who would be happy to store and who don't comp you could use their address when you enter although some comps require proof of address when you win.0 -
I personally would worry about it once you have won. Some companies will be happy to deliver to another address, some may not and you will need to accept delivery then arrange to move the item yourself to storage. I would just explain as you have here to any comp hosts, most will be understanding. You may even be offered vouchers/credit as an alternative. Terms vary so much, and then again so so the companies on sticking to them or not! Don't worry just enter and if you win, then see what they say, GL xxxtotal wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00

Wish you all the luck but don't pin your hopes on winning everything you need. You will probably be very busy doing all the moving bits...if budget is tight please search facebook selling groups / freecycle etc for the bits you need to set you up. Hope you win some nice bits to keep your spirits up though. Good luck£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Thanks everyone for your help and support.
I know I am unlikely to win any of the big things I need at all like a washing machine and a bed but the freecycle idea is great for the smaller things - thank again.0
