Hi MoneySavers,
I need some help from someone in the community, who owns either a Garmin Nuvi 205 or similar, and also a Garmin Nuvi 1300 series or similar.
If you can connect your unit to a PC and know how to access the file structure on the unit, then I would be pleased to hear from you. I am currently putting together some map sets, which I want to work on earlier Garmin models, so I need someone who can test them for me, on their unit. Essentially I would supply the person or persons with an SD Card to install in their unit to check the maps work, and then I know whether what folder structure and naming convention I need in earlier units. I am currently testing with a Nuvi 42 which uses a folder named "Garmin" for supplementary maps, but some users with earlier devices report this does not work.
If anyone is interested in helping me out, I would be pleased to get either a response here or a PM.
Thanks In Advance.
Simon G
