As above, the short answer is yes, but this implies that you're planning (or at least considering) continuing to carry a balance forward without paying it off. This could work, but only if your credit status is sufficiently strong to justify getting a 0% card now and then another one two years down the line, which may not be possible if lenders were to decide that you're not worth the risk - how and when are you planning to pay off your debt?

    hi,eskbanker
i have £4,000.00 on a spend card , i wish to pay it off when i choose to, the spend card already takes £30 min payment each month, i have had loads of 0% spend cards that i have paid off early, then i close that account, and get a new 0% spend card, i always get a credit limit round about £5,000.00
so would you say i would still be given a credit limit of £5,000.00 on a new balance transfer card ????

    thanks for your help,

I have no idea, the point I was making was that it's best not to have to rely on continuing to get 0% cards repeatedly just in case one day you get an unwelcome surprise, which is more likely if you're thinking about carrying forward a balance than if you're paying it off in full.
