What does this mean in contract of sale (house i'm buying)?

Check with your solicitor or conveyancer. And read the Office Copy Entries and in particular the Charges section
I don't know abou the last sentance about 4% but the rest I would say probably means that there are liabilities or responsibilities which will pass to you (for instance, restrictive covenents) but that the property will pass to you free of the seller's mortgage.
But you have asolicitor or conveyancer whowill be able to tell you, and no-one will be able to tell you for certain without seeing the Office Copy EntriesAll posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
