Anyway , in reponse to the OP , I would be extremely dubious about purchasing anything property based at a presentation in this country as you simply have no guarantee that what you are being shown is actually what you will be getting.
If you really are serious about buying overseas property then simply go on holiday to your preferred country and spend a bit of time looking at the local real estate agencies there.
At least then you can see, smell and touch what you might be buying which is more than you can do from a 'podium pitch' presentation in the UK!

In went to one for a smiliar thing, got £25 in argos vouchers and a free weeks holiday to spain or turkey. I knew what to expect with the hours and hours of mithering to get a timeshare and i also know to expect a lot of mithering on the holiday but me, my fella my sister and her boyf are going away for just over £100 (£25 each in airport taxes) so i'm not complaining. Would do it again! Just be firm as they are really persuasive! Even had me and my boyf thinking about getting one for a nano second. Holiday arranged for april/may time next year and its supposed to be very good as they are still trying to make you buy their product so put you up in good hotels etc.

The majority of timeshare resorts are of 4*+ standard, depending on which exchange company the timeshare resort is affiliated to so I have no doubt that the accommodation and facilities will be excellent for your holiday.

Be aware though , that you will most likely be approached by what is known as an ' in-house' rep whilst you are on your holiday to re-pitch the product to you..
