NHS exemption/tax credits

Hello.
I currently have an NHS tax exemption card via working tax credits.
However, I am due to start a new job shortly which will probably take me above the level for this card.
So do I give it back this year, or do I not lose it until renewal next year?

/\ to check if you will be eligable to continue to use it, when you start working.
you can ring them (preferably quicker then "shortly") and ask them to sort it out for you ? > "declare a change in circumstance" / ask for info, they will also be able to clarify / make record ?
although presumably also you can just throw it in the bin etc,
...wouldn't go over the threshold and continue using it though.0 -
I understand from the link below ( by implication rather that it explicitly saying ) that you can use the card till it expires, because they issue them only for 7 months at a time, to keep up with changes in circumstances.

This is correct, valid till expiry even if circumstances change and tax credits stop. Spoke to them regarding this recently0 -
