OP, when DD had a fault with her mobile which was 18 months old, we found Samsung were very good. They send us a pre-paid jiffy type envelope for us to post back and it was returned with a new screen 5 days later. We were warned that if there was any cosmetic damage it would not be covered so returned in the orginal box, with an extra box and bubble wrap. I also took dated photos of the phone to show no damage on the phone and of the packaging to show it was well packaged (was not needed but just in case of any claim that it was damaged on receipt by Samsung) .
