We have gone room by room to identify where is cost effective cable run wise to have new sockets and upgraded sockets installed , outside light same wall as existing cabling

So there isnt any need to lift floorboards etc, will be some new cabling on the same walls as existing for the new doubles

Cabling seems in good condition visually but i suppose the report test will show up any faults anywhere?

I'm thinking 3 days labour and £200 in materials plus vat?

A lot depends on how visible the installation is. Surface mount sockets with wiring run in conduit is cheap and quick, surface mount with buried cables a lot neater but more expensive.

the additional sockets will be installed chased into the wall, but yes , 3 days is the amount of time given , give or take

    I don't think it's too cheap. It's just a keen rate.
Was quoted 3.5k for Bristol for a 3 bed complete rewire and new fuse box, chased into walls.

No. It's a completely unreasonable rate which should make you ask why.

It should easily come in at £200 if his mark up on materials isn't extortionate or he only uses high end stuff. Minus the earthing and allowing for 50 meters on new cable £155 from toolstation.
