Hi, Can anyone give me some advice on SEO services?
We have recently re-written our web site and have always relied on generic searches through word content and Google AD Words. Little else. Our web site for reference is House Martin Online. Thoughts please?

Seriously - good, fresh, relevant, organic content is what you need.
If you're regionally focused, include the region's name in the text eg 'one of the oldest pet shops in Wells, Somerset' will help anchor your geographically.
If there's any other phrases you want to be found for, "pet shop" will be page 150 of the results at best, so target specific searches as above.
There is no 'page 1 of Google' as an absolute, everybody gets a personalised one, and some unscrupulous SEO vendors Prey on this as the more times you search for yourself the higher you'll rise *for you * but attribute the results to the SEO vendors.0 -

I don't know if you're familiar with the phrase "content is king", but its one of the measuring sticks the most important things in SEO. You must have fresh, unique, good quality content. You can try seo content writing and see if you'll get a good SEO rank from that.
You can hire writing services for that but just remember your content is the most important thing.0
