Mmm Deleted_User sounds delicious would plump for a banana custard
the weather seems to have perked up a bit in the past few hours so hopefully the rain will hold off for a change.
Don't think there is anymore left up there ? we really need some sunshine to cheer us all up I think.
I have some nice HM carrot and coriander soup for lunch with some cheese and crackers I go to DDs for Sunday dinner later, so I never have to cook on a Sunday.
Having a lazy day today I have done my morning mile already so its time to relax and probably have a read of my library book with a big pot of coffee.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone
Cheers JackieO xx0 -
Hi everyone,
A late post from me. We took advantage of a dry day and went to Ightham Mote with DD and DS2. Unfortunately the house and gardens were closed due to yesterday's flash floods. We had lunch in the cafe and a mooch around the shop. Got home and DS1 who didn't come with us as was supposed to be editing his college coursework (due in Tuesday) had his mates round to watch the football. Cue another almighty row about his lack of respect, motivation and oh wait let me see, lying grrrrrr. I told him that come his 18th birthday in February he can go live somewhere else if we choose as we will no longer be responsible for him. Flaming kids
In other news, I am making roast chicken for dinner. Haven't had a roast in ages so we are looking forward to that. Might even make an apple crumble as like nmlc we have some in the bowl that need using up. All ironing done before we went out earlier so will get to do some cross stitch later. Much needed - it's my way of unwinding.
Hope you all have a lovely day
