Credit card in credit...

Options
Odd question here...

I've just paid off my full credit card balance. Hurrah!

But then got £3.33 in interest adjustment, and received a refund for an AirBNB booking that I had made using that card for £100. Now I'm in credit by £103.33 which would be fine for me if I was planning on using the credit card again, but my aim at the moment is to stay well away from credit.

When I call the bank (Lloyds) can they simply switch the money into my current account? That would be ideal as half the refund is owed to a friend, but will they charge me? If I can't move the money without charge will it earn interest? Or it the best option to simply spend it (on essentials - I'm loath to spend it for the sake of spending!)

Cheers!

Lloyds is one of the bank which is particulalry good in refunding people in credit balance on creditcard. When you call them, they will ask you how did it happen. Just explain to them, they will refund it to your current account.

I used to have a few grands in credit balance on myLLoyds Platinum Card and they refunded me to my Lloyds current account.
