Hi All
I have a couple of properties i rent out and i'm about to go through this process, has anyone got any experience of this or has been through the procedure ?
It looks as if i just need to register the properties first and pay the fee, THEN once approved book on a course.
I was hoping to do the online course due to work etc.
Anyone help/advise ?
Thanks

I googled 'what is Rent Smart Wales' quick click on Frequently Asked Questions.., then there's this
What training must I do to obtain a licence?
There is different training available for landlords and agents. If a person is both a landlord and an agent who requires a licence, they can complete agent training and this will be sufficient for their landlord licence as well.
People can choose to go on Rent Smart Wales run training, or they can complete approved training offered by authorised trainers. Our preferred option is that you complete the licensing training by attending a training course as people can interact and learn from each other and ask questions relevant to their own experiences. However there are also Rent Smart Wales on-line courses available for those people who do not find attending a course convenient. View our available training.
It sounds like if you attend a course, you might learn more. As you presumably have considerable amounts tied up in the properties, again, it might be useful idea to get as much as you can out of the training and take a few days holiday.0
