  • Hi

I've just opened a Tesco balance transfer credit card with no interest to pay for 24 months and no fees to pay for each balance transfer. The card does, however, charge fees for purchases so I can only really use it for balance transfers.
The card has a limit of 3200 and I have transferred a balance of 650 pounds which leaves 2550 left for transfers.

I have another credit card (post office 27 month interest free on purchases) which is not too far off its credit limit but has only been opened 2 months ago.
I will reach the credit limit on the post office card within the next few months.

My question is can I transfer the balance from the post office purchase c/c to the Tesco balance transfer c/c so that I will be able to use the post office c/c for longer without exceeding the credit limit? Or is is too soon to make a transfer given that it (the post office card) was only opened 2 months ago??

    Regards

You can make a transfer from any card, it doesn't matter that it was only opened 2 months ago.
