I'm usually rubbish at answering my mobile. I leave it all over the place and never hear it go off either, but this morning it went off and I was sitting right by it.
I answered it and said hello as it was an unknown number. What I should have said was KISS I'm ready !
So instead of winning the holiday somewhere sunny, that I have been really trying for, I had to hear these words ' I'm sorry you answered your phone wrongly and I cannot offer you a holiday'.
I am disappointed but only in myself . Often these comps are entered a couple of weeks before they ring you, and then they might ring you on any number of days and times in that week, so I have decided to stick a post it on my phone for future reference with dates, times and phrase. I have also decided to try and log the phone numbers and name them in my phone so it comes up with KISS next time - if there is one !

It's not your fault, don't be disappointed in yourself. Can you imagine picking up every 'unknown' call shouting 'KISS I'm ready!' and hearing, 'Have you had an accident in the last 3 years that wasn't your fault?' :rotfl:0
