Collection of items

Hi,
Just after some opinions.

Been separated for 14 months following a 12 year relationship. The ex took all her items from the house within the first month.

Just cleared out the shed and found some more of her belongings. Paperwork/ big box of her childhood photos and various other odds and sods.

16th June - Emailed, No reply
22nd June - Emailed, No reply
24th June - Text, No reply

In both the last email & text, I said I would make contact once more in a weeks time to arrange collection of the goods, however if I fail to hear anything back I will have no other option then to dispose of the items.

Now I don't particularly want to dispose of hr photos/paperwork, as this is really personal stuff and part of her childhood. However with no forwarding address and no replies to emails/texts - what other options do I have?

Yeah, I thought about contacting her parents. Think that will be my next step, and then probably draw a line there. Only so much one can do.

just pop them round to their house.. knock on the door (drop the box with a note and run away lol).. say 'I found these and thought she might want them back'

civilised and hopefully they'd be too shell shocked to say anything other than thank you ;)

If you're feeling a bit mean and bitter put a couple of adult toys on the top ;) .. I am that childish hahaha

Its not true at all that you have no option other than to dispose of them, why did you say that?

She may be on holiday, she may have changed her number. Do you know where she lives? Can you contact any friends or family?

Resolved. Quick message to her mother and the ex replied within the hour.

She wouldn't have been on holiday as seen her car around town, but thanks for the replies.

Did you not ever go to her parents house? or did they move recently? I'm not used to parents moving mine have lived in the same house for years and years and forever.

Are they not on social media or anything?

I assumed you meant a forwarding address for the ex rather than any friends or family. :D
