Savings and benefits

How much money as a couple can you have in savings / current accounts without it affecting benefits? The benefits in question are incapacity and DLA.

    Neither Incapacity Benefit or DLA are means tested benefits so you could be a millionaire and still recieve them.
    Social security benefit rates (GL23)
    towards the back of this guide you will find a detailed description of what savings you are allowed if claiming means tested benefits such as Income Support, Housing Benefit Council tax and Pension Credits.
