Prices rising already

For the purpose of getting a cheaper tariff, I have precipitated the Brexit. EU will now disintegrate, the EURO will disappear, and the world economy will grind to a snails pace. Demand for oil will drop, and so the price.
I expect the economic malaise will take months to propagate, but should take effect by April 2017. This means cheap tariffs will be plentiful from May 2017. A one year fix will therefore be sufficient.0 -
...They are both sorry if anyone was misled but tough.
They are not the only ones who may have misled the public.
Remember when the date was set for the referendum, 'call me Dave' promised:Three years ago I committed to the British people that I would renegotiate our position in the European Union and hold an in-out referendum.
Now I am delivering that commitment.
You will decide.
And whatever your decision, I will do my best to deliver it.
But now, because he didn't get his own way, he appears to have thown his teddy out the pram and is going to sulk off in 3 months ... before which he will do nothing to deliver what was decided.

Q. How can you tell a politician is lying?
A. He's still breathing.0 -
Electricity price rises have been going on for a few months, its got nothing to do with Brexit. Non energy prices are going up by more than the wholesale price has come down.0

Well the energy companies have started to remove cheaper tariffs , GB Energy Topaz gone today. Replaced with a more expensive one.
as with nearly all new tariffs apart from a few, which may work out slightly cheaper
energy companys nearly always use new tariffs as a sneaky way to slightly increase/hike their prices
as it looks better for them than to announce an official price hike nationwide0 -
Online Fixed Price Energy June 2017
Vs
Online Fixed Price Energy July 2017
The new Scottish Power one year fix is out, and it's higher. For my postcode.
Electricity
10.268p going up to 10.621p
Gas
2.252p going up to 2.384p
Counting down to July 2017, the world economy has collapsed, and oil is down to $20 a barrel. I'll get a cheap fix, and kick start the economy again.0 -
Just keeping a log.
Online Fixed Price Energy September 2017
Gas 2.518p
Electricity 10.983p
Just keeping a log, so I know how bad reality is getting, compared to my one year fixed bubble.0
