Only if your current supplier has that information. It's good practice not to disclose personal details such as FULL name, DoB, previous address and so on to your energy and communications providers.
Unfortunately such personal information is usually a pre-requisite to obtaining credit, and we all know the best energy prices are only available to those with credit meters.0 -
Is there just me who thinks this whole things has been a waste of time? The four tariff rule probably needs to go but I don't see how accepting the big six view that competition is the answer (when they want to keep things jsut as they are) has been accepted by anyone looking at this seriously.
They have established a confusopoly, I think it is time for petrol station style pricing with no standing charge. Then everyone could see at a glance which is the cheaper tariff and this might increase switching.
I think this database will be a damp squib, people dont trust the suppliers, no amount of leaflets will change that...Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -
