Dealing with management company

Not sure this is the right place for this post, but can't see a better, so here goes.
Most people who post about flat management companies complain about high charges. My management company on the contrary is parsimonious. Hence although the lawn is cut (not often enough but it does get done) the flower beds are never weeded, except lately by me.
More importantly each flat has a garage, the sort that are too small for modern cars so are used for storage. The roof of the garages slopes to a gutter but is felted like a flat roof. It has so many weeds growing on it that it looks like a modern eco friendly one. The bit of roof on my garage leaks, badly. There may be some repointing needed or it might be the gutter that needs attention because the back wall also looks wet.
Some of the other garages may suffer from leaks, but no one else seems bothered. The whole roof wants new felt - the timber gets wet and is discoloured but also dries out so is probably OK (?) - but I suspect the cost would be more than £250 per flat. I'd be happy just to get mine done though I suspect that repairing just one bit of a continuous roof would be ineffective.
How do I go about persuading the management company to do something if no one else wants to stump up? It's clearly their responsibility according to the lease. Also what about cost? They can charge me one seventh of the total cost of maintaining all the garages but if they just repair my bit do I still only pay one seventh? The lease doesn't cover that eventuality.
Having taken on the cost of sorting the garden out because no one else was interested in it, I don't want to end up paying a disproportionate amount to get my garage reasonably dry.
