Hotmail accounts

I have a desktop PC recently upgraded to Windows 10.

Although not our main email accounts, both my wife and I have Hotmail accounts which we have had for many years.

Until recently to use our hotmail accounts we went to https://www.hotmail.com or by using a ‘favourite’. Both email addresses were displayed, we selected one and had to enter our respective password to sign into the account.

Now when I go to https://www.hotmail.com my Hotmail address appears together with my password(black dots) in the password box, so all that is required to access my account is click ‘Sign in’. Thus anyone who has access to my Computer can access my email account.

1. The ‘keep me signed in’ box is unticked.

2. Signing out makes no difference – it still defaults to my address and password next time I go to Hotmail.

3. Deleting address and password on the sign-in screen makes no difference - it still defaults etc

4. Entering my wife’s Hotmail address and password(different to mine) allows her to access her account. However it still defaults to my address and password next time I go to Hotmail.

Lastly on my IPad the same thing happens, as above – except it defaults to my wife’s Hotmail account every time Hotmail is accessed.

Obviously we want to restrict access to our Hotmail accounts and only be able to ‘sign in’ after we enter our respective password.

I cannot find any setting either on PC or IPad to prevent this happening.

Any ideas please?
