Outlook email format just changed

Anyone else had this? I use Outlook.com on my android phone to look at my hotmail emails (the non app version) and today when I opened it, the 'look' had changed. It's like they've introduced a different theme. I've just opened it on my windows 10 laptop and the same thing happened.

I like the old look, particularly on my phone - the new layout is too clunky and large. I suppose it's not too bad on the laptop though, just different.

Is this something that was expected to happen? Is there a way to revert to the old theme?

Cheers.

Best I can suggest is to go to outlook.com, login, click the gear/cog wheel near the top-right and look through the options - see if something lets you revert to the theme you like.

Thanks, I tried that but can't see anything that will revert to old view. I'm surprised that there isn't more fuss about this - is it only me that's affected?

Not a big deal, just wondering.

It was changed ages ago. Unless there was a new change.

Some of our little used accounts changed months ago but yesterday my main one changed. You do get used to it but definitely not as easy on the eye.

Yes mine has also changed - and not for the better.

I wonder if this problem is tied up with the change:

Be nice to know if anyone else has this problem.
