Bath is a city blessed with green spaces to enjoy al fresco dining when the sun
shines. Milsom Place is inviting locals to share their favourite picnic spots with
visitors to the city this summer for a chance to win a fabulous picnic prepared by
Carluccio’s and a picnic bag from Cath Kidston.
Many cities are surrounded by urban sprawl but part of the charm of the World
Heritage City of Bath is its proximity to beautiful countryside. Those “in the know”
might direct a visitor to pack a picnic and head for Royal Victoria Park to watch hot
air balloons take off on a balmy summer’s evening – or hit the trail on the National
Trust Skyline Walk (their most popular downloaded walk in the UK) or book tickets
for a magical evening of opera at Iford in the open air.
Milsom Place with its sun-drenched courtyards is the city’s most central spot for al
fresco dining with a range of popular eateries and is always bustling with activity
throughout the summer months.
Nominate a picnic spot that a visitor might enjoy for a chance to win a fabulous prize

citrus poached chicken breasts served with delicious salads; classic rosemary
