Can I ask - Anyone who has won a holiday or knows how it works please

Options
I won a fabulous holiday recently and I'm finding the whole claiming/booking process a bit....errrr - well - disjointed would be a good word!
Can anyone who has been through this tell me how it should go (and if it's vastly different then I'll expand!) - would really appreciate any advice Thanks

From other posts it seems to vary vastly, from only needing to provide names and dates to organising almost everything yourself.
  • Thanks. I suppose the thing I'm finding most odd is that having provided/agreed dates they're telling me that they'll only inform me 40 days before departure if the dates/flights etc have been acceptable to all parties. 40 days is nothing! Is that odd or is it just me?

That does seem a very short timescale especially if you have to book time off work etc

I won a trip to Venice a couple of years ago now and the company organised everything, even a private water boat taxi and gondola ride for me. All I had to provide was the dates I wanted to go and then they came back to me with which they managed to book. well done on your trip and have fun xx
:j First prizes back into comping after a break - romantic break to 2 to Venice/ Paris or Rome with romantic trip and a 42 inch TV and blu Ray amazing !

Thank you all so much and good luck guys and girls xxxxxx

Ehat do the terms and conditions say? If it's not in the terms and conditions I would argue that.

Some agencies are great others rubbish so keep all correspondence you have with them and check anything that is unclear .You will find , if you are lucky enough to win quite a few holidays , that the reception you get is very mixed too. Some place think it is a prize so a rubbish room will do thers I have found give you the best . Do complain if you do not get what is expected.
