Can Virgin Media Do This?

I have been with Virgin/NTL for donkeys years for TV and broadband - every month I get charged for having a phone too even though I haven't actually had a phone or even a phone socket for over ten years, but apparently I can't opt out of paying for this service I don't use - is this legit?

You can get rid of the phone line, you won't save much money, but if you haven't actually got it, I would try and get rid.0

Its a DATA line as opposed to a phone line .
You rent the cable from VM .0 -
You still need to pay for a line to get the signal whether it's broadband or phone. You can take broadband only but it's a similar price0

By taking a triple package from Virgin Media, one gets a discount on all three, so by dropping line rental, you will find that taking TV and broadband alone will actually cost even more than your paying now.0

Usually removing your landline increases your price0
