    Be aware the 0870 number is premium rate.

    The 03 number is charged the same as whatever you already pay for calls to 01 and 02 numbers.

    Calls to 03 numbers are always cheaper than calling 084 and 087 numbers.

    I thought I should provide an update.

    After several entries on the Talk Talk forum and 7 emails to their customer complaints, since the entries above, a complaints manager has contacted me; she advised that they were aware that I moved my service to BT back in October and I do not owe them anything.

    Frustrating that it took so long and so many of their staff, whilst pleasant and polite, did nothing to resolve the issue which was their error.

    Thank you to all those who provided advice.
