Hi,
I hope someone may be able to offer some advice.
Briefly, I left Talktalk at the end of October 2015, as this coincided with them trying to move me to Fleur Telecom, having given them the required 30 days notice; I also told Fleur I would not be moving to them. I had paid Talktalk, by DD, for October.
They confirmed, by letter dated 2 October, that they had received notification of me leaving them.
In May, received a threatening letter from them stating I owed them £100.58. No success in speaking to them so wrote explaining why I did not owe them anything. They acknowledged receipt of this letter.
Have just received a final demand which threatens a debt collection agency despite the foregoing.
Any advice you could offer would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Whilst I have heard of 'tweeting', I have not got a clue how to do it. I also have no idea what you mean by community. Please can you use language that is recognisable to an older generation.0 -

Thank you for the response.
It seems to be just another forum. I may be dumb but I cannot see how it would help to resolve my problem.0 -
If you join the forum, and post your problem, they have Talk Talk Representatives who try to help you.
I'm currently posting on that forum myself. They respond quite quickly (office hours, and I'm not sure if they reply at the weekends)
However, be warned, my problem seems to have got worse since they started 'tweaking' things.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hi Emma,
Could we have a phone number please. I also have a problem I need to discuss voice-to-voice.
Thanks

they don't have a phone number apart from the normal ones

I have two phone numbers for them
0870 444 1820
0345 172 0088
I've only used the first number, and it was a very unsatisfying experience. The 'technical' person I spoke too, had apparently never heard of a Netgear router:eek: It appears they can only read script off a card, and as English is not their first language it can be difficult to understand them.
After a 30 minute call, I was no further forward.
As the phone call was such a depressing experience, I didn't try the second number. But if anybody tries it, please can you advise if you get through to someone with the knowledge needed to give you meaningful help, and whether they talk to you, rather than read off a card.
I'm currently posting on their forum to try and get help. The Talk Talk reps do respond quite quickly and I find it an easier way to communicate with them. But, at this point, they seem to have made my internet problem worse rather than better, so I can't vouch for the quality of assistance you'll get!Early retired - 18th December 2014
